This Classic American Lager is a pre-Prohibition-style Pilsner, brewed in the USA by immigrant German brewers, who brought the process and yeast with them when they settled in the U.S. They worked with native ingredients to create a unique version of the traditional Pilsner. This beer is brewed with Root Shoot malt and noble hops.

Grimm Brothers is honored to brew this beer for the Larimer County Fair and PRCA Rodeo. Celebrating the 250th birthday of the United States and the 150th birthday of Colorado, it is brewed with Loveland’s own Root Shoot malt. The Olander farm where the malt is grown is celebrating its 100th birthday, Root Shoot Malting its 10th, and Grimm Brothers its 16th.
